Russia is the first partner country for transport logistic
This year, Russia will act as the partner country for the trade fair transport logistic China which will take place in Shanghai from June 14 to 16, 2016. As China’s largest trading partner, Russia will be represented by a joint stand. Maxim Sokolov, the Russian Minister of Transport, will also attend the trade fair accompanied by a delegation of Russian entrepreneurs.
“In June 2016, we will welcome an official partner country for the first time in the history of transport logistic China. It is a pleasure and an honor for us that Russia accepted the invitation to become the official partner country and will be represented by both a joint stand and the Russian Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov,” said Gerhard Gerritzen, member of the Board of Management of Messe München GmbH, which has been organizing transport logistic China since 2004. By deciding to have a partner country, the logistics trade fair is now supplementing the key topics by a country-specific focus and is therefore paying closer attention to current developments.
The Russian flag will be seen everywhere during transport logistic China. Economic relations between Russia and China have become much closer -‑ not least due to the sanctions imposed by the west. The increased cooperation between Russia and China is reflected by higher investments and the expansion of the “new Silk Road” between the two countries.
“We have been playing an active role in transport logistic China for many years. The Russian Ministry of Transport therefore decided to become the official partner country of the trade fair this year,” said the Russian Transport Minister Solokov.
The conference program will also examine the current topics which are affecting China and Russia. The “new Silk Road”, which runs from China to Europe via Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as the high-speed transport corridor between Moscow and Beijing are just two of the numerous topics which will be discussed during the supporting program.
Logistics providers along the international value-added chain will have various opportunities to help shape the good relations between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, contribute their own know-how and profit from the developments.
